Brief

A redesign of a modest back garden area wrapping around a period property in an L shape. The brief; to create a family garden with a greater sense of 'journey', seclusion and calm whilst being surrounded by nature and bringing wildlife back into the garden.

A figure 8 motif underpins the layout of the design promoting a more circular movement and a  journey around the garden, connecting and passing through different functional spaces including a new pergola framing a dinning terrace and quiet corner with a simple water feature to sit, pause and be immersed within the planting.
